Zhuhai to Macau

After leaving Tai Shan, we went to Zhuhai, a city on the Chinese side, right across the border from Macau (The Las Vegas of southern China).

We had dinner at the Sands casino then took a shuttle to the Wynn to see the "Golden Tree".

Hotels in Zhuhai are about a third to half of what they are across the border in Macau.
We made the border crossing into Macau the two days we stayed in Zhuhai.

It involved numerous forms, for which we are thankful to Sabrina for having filled most of them out. Customs forms, Immigration forms, Health forms. We needed a set for each direction we traveled, on each of the two days. That's a lot of forms.

We did find a place to get the famous Portuguese Pork Sandwiches, and Custard Tarts.
Our last job in Macau was shopping for cookies.

Probably the main sight in Macau is the facade of the old cathedral.

Capping off our stay in Macau, we went to a local restaurant recommended by our bus driver.

Not sure if he got a commission for bringing us there but the food was good and not that expensive.
